(ENGLISH VERSION)
The society want us to be all strong, bold and confident and so shyness is seen as a defect; if successful, it is a plus to come true …
“I’m afraid to face the world, the others … I feel small and incapable. I think I’m a failure,” Lucio confesses during a counseling session. He says in a low voice, as if it were something to be ashamed of. So great is his surprise when listening to the psychotherapist’s response:
- “Lucio, without your fears you would be a robot !.
And again:
- ” Being afraid is a good thing! If you had never been afraid you’d fake a bluff. “” Look at the fear as a traveling companion: that’ll teach you to be with yourself. “
This is the way of thinking closer to the soul: the discomforts play an important role , though not immediately visible. My hardships are real traveling companions I carry them with me because they are the guides who give me a hand along my path. If you do not accept them, you create a situation of schizophrenia, a rift between you and your inner nature. One might object: but if my hardships send me into a crisis what do I do then? Here’s the answer …
It is not shyness that hurts you
“It is not the hardships that send in crisis. What sends into crisis is the fact that you do not welcome them as part of you. It ruins the model of perfection. If you are shy and you want to take away your shyness, you ruin your life. It’s like if a plant will tear the roots. If you are shy and you will take care, shyness becomes a traveling companion. the fantasies, fears and discomforts that are inside of you, are doing a function. you do not know what is but they yes! “. Again are the common ways of thinking to retain Lucio, who asks: “But if the fears start to hurt me I have to do something to feel better?”.
The fade inconvenience if you become unusually
“I have to take care of my fears like I take care of my hands and my arms. They are my children. If I listen to them they guarantee access to non-rational codes, the ones that I need. What’s behind the door? No I know here is fear. fear always alludes to something unknown. fear is the gateway of mystery. what are they afraid? of what we do not see, the labyrinth, getting lost, the numinous, the sacred, not the usual . So here is what teaches you: Lucio is too normal man. But if you take care of the “not usual”, the fears will go away spontaneously. If instead he will continue to fight them, they will remain. the common mind kills the soul. “
