Come scrive Milena:
Andavo in bagno spessissimo.

(ENGLISH VERSION)
Sometimes the introduction of whole foods in the diet may be the cause of unpleasant intestinal swelling, which can be prevented.
Experts often say that it is preferable to choose wholemeal food, but sometimes these foods may bother your intestines. As Milena writes:
- “Some friends have told me about the benefits of wholegrain foods and I read that it is good to avoid too refined foods. No sooner said than done. I replaced all the cereals I usually consumed with the rough equivalent. After a week my intestines were totally upside down! I went to the bathroom very much. “Side effects” that my friends have never tried. Where did I go wrong? Specifically I do not have any food intolerance. “
Pay attention to whole grains on the market
Awakening the intestine and overcoming constipation and swelling are therapeutic goals that in fact can be achieved thanks to the integral food. But you have to be careful when purchasing and be aware of some basic differences. The best-selling wholegrain flour, for example, is not at all pure! Those found on the market are mostly prepared with refined flours to which the bran or wholemeal flour obtained by electric mill is added.
- in the first case, a percentage of non-digestible insoluble fiber is retained;
- in the second case the grain of wheat is crushed in a homogeneous manner and in the final product there are accumulations of bran and other parts of amides only.
The result in both cases is a strong peristalsis stimulus. This can initially benefit those who are stitched, but for others it can create problems.
Choose ground stone flour
When buying wholemeal flour, check on the list of ingredients that are not really a sum of different flours of flour. I recommend that you prefer products with pure whole grain milled by stone: the grain of wheat is homogenously shredded, so it is preserved its nutritional value. In order to avoid unwanted effects, finally insert whole foods into your diet gradually, especially if you are not used to eating them.
