(ENGLISH VERSION)
Sanskrit is a vibrational language. What does it mean? it means that it is not the sound that gives importance to the word but the vibration it transmits.
The alphabet is formed not by letters but by syllables that access the body through different vibrations, touching specific points. These syllables are called Mantrika which means “Little Mother” because in each one there is the ability to manifest and create the energy and the vibration of what is being mentioned. The power of the Sanskrit is hidden here.
Very often yoga teachers ask to repeat a mantra during a class to teach students that it is not important to know the meaning of a mantra to receive the greatest benefit, because the meaning of Sanskrit is hidden in its sound.
The word vibrational means that it can be felt through the body. We are made for most of water and as a drop in water creates movement, in the same way an energetic vibration results in a movement within the body. Sanskrit can be used to promote healing of the physical, emotional, spiritual and mental body.
In the world, every existing thing is made up of a vibration and an electromagnetic frequency. The words of modern languages are used to describe, indicate and connote, but in Sanskrit the word denotes the vibration and the frequency of the object mentioned. That is, the word that indicates an object actually refers to its vibration in the world rather than to the object itself, thus arriving at its true essence.
Sanskrit is the language of Yoga, the language of the asanas that we often do not know how to pronounce, but that simply if we listen to them in the name and in the body, completely transform the practice. Sanskrit is a language born from the desire to communicate from within to reach the point of the listener. It is the language of the classical books of Yoga and ancient India.
The word itself means “formed in its entirety, complete, perfect”. Every word in Sanskrit has many facets and meanings, it is a wonderful and evocative language. Where every word contains meaning within the other to be discovered by doing, studying, acting, living. The single word YOGA has many facets and connotations explained through metaphors in pages and pages of books. This is because the Sanskrit words have a deeper meaning than a simple word.
The mantras, the Sanskrit phrases recited in the practice of Yoga are an important tool of healing, a vibratory prayer to move the blocked energies. The healing effect of Sanskrit creates harmony in the body and in consciousness. Meaning is not important to know because there is a special connection between sound and meaning that are not two distinct entities, but exactly the same thing.
That is, the syllable or word contains the meaning in its vibrational frequency. An example: a newborn who can not speak or who does not recognize the meaning of words. The vibration of the mother’s voice is calm and recognizes her as protective.
This is because every voice has a different vibration and the newborn does not need to understand the siginificato of the words, the vibration of the mother’s voice is enough to already feel more serene. In the same way Sanskrit has a healing, calming and revitalizing effect.
